27. How can I submit a link to the directory?
It’s easy and quick. You should simply enter the category you wish to add a link to, and then click on the “Submit a Link” button. It’s very important that you select the most appropriate category. So, for example, if you’re a poet, you should choose the Arts & Culture/Literature/Lyre subcategory instead of simply the Arts & Culture/Literature subcategory.

When filling in the registration page, pay attention to the following:
First of all, tick all the languages in which your website is available. A separate window will pop up for all the languages you select. Suppose your website www.koltovagyok.hu is available in German but not in English. In that case you should tick the Hungarian and the German versions.

Submitting link details is also very easy. For the “Hungarian Title” entry field you should enter the title of the website that will most likely be the official title of the site. The title is limited to 50 characters. As in the case of the above example, it might be ‘the poet Peter Szabo’s poems’ but not www.koltovagyok.hu. This address should be entered in the “URL to the Hungarian Version” entry field beginning with http://. In the “Hungarian Description” entry field you can introduce your website in maximum 300 characters. For example, ‘Peter Szabo’s poems he has written since he was 12. His poems are mainly about love and friendship’. Please note: the description mustn’t be promotional in nature.

Then follow the same procedure with the German version. Make sure that you enter the German version of the address, e.g. www.koltovagyok.hu/de, instead of the Hungarian one, i.e. www.koltovagyok.hu, which shall take visitors to the Hungarian website. Of course, you should fill in the “German Title” entry field in German (Die Gedichte von Péter Szabó), just like the “German Description” field (Die Gedichte des berühmten Dichters Péter Szabó, die er seit seinem 12. Lebensjahr verfasst hat. In seiner Lyrik beschäftigt sich der Dichter in erster Linie mit den Themen Liebe und Freundschaft.).

In the next step you should provide your contact information. Clearly, here you should enter your contact details. You must fill in all the fields with the red sign “Required Field”; otherwise the system won’t accept your submission.
Then you should accept the Terms of Registration and Privacy Policy by ticking the box next to it. Without this, you won’t be able to submit your link.

Finally, click on the “Submit a Link” button that will take you to the “Your Link Has Been Submitted” page. Here you can have another look at how your link will be displayed on hungaroo. If you make any mistakes in the entries, you will receive an error message. You should then fill in the fields that are marked with red again.

You will be sent an e-mail to confirm your registration.

As soon as hungaroo accepts your link and registers it to the directory, you will be sent another e-mail.

28. How shall I fill in the registration page if I want to submit someone else’s website?
Read the entry of ‘How can I submit a link to the directory?’. You should follow the same procedure except for the contact information page where you should enter the website owner’s data instead of yours, so that we could inform them that their website has been added to hungaroo’s directory. You will surely find their e-mail on their website. As for the other fields, you may want to put an ‘x’ to avoid receiving an error message, although we would appreciate if you filled them in properly.

29. What should I do if I don’t have the appropriate language skills for the different language versions?
In this case, we are happy to do the translation for you. Just make sure that you provide the description in at least one of the languages, and that you enter the appropriate URL for each language version.

30. How can I suggest a new category?
It’s very simple. Enter the category you wish to suggest a subcategory to, and click on the “Suggest a New Subcategory” button. Here you only have to write the name of the subcategory you want to suggest. Don’t be surprised that your suggestion isn’t displayed immediately. Before that happens we must consider whether this subcategory is really needed. If yes, you’ll see the result soon. If not, just don’t take it to heart.

31. How can I delete my link from the directory?
Simply send an e-mail to help@hungaroo.com asking us to kindly delete your link from the directory. Please also include a reason for doing so.

32. How can I change the description or any other data of my link?
You should send an e-mail to the editor of the category in question. You’ll find the editors’ e-mails at the bottom of the page next to their photos. Please note: not all categories have an editor. In that case send the e-mail to help@hungaroo.com.
